Overview

Kvàvèàvdè Se was founded durring the early 19th century in early winter of the year 1839, by Ethral Qíhgùru. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Kvàvèàvdè Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 19th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kvàvèàvdè Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Kvàvèàvdè Se is buildings folow an organic layout of restrictive cobblestone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Kvàvèàvdè Se has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Kvàvèàvdè Se’s streets. A look around Kvàvèàvdè Se has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Kvàvèàvdè Se long.

Points of Interest

Kvàvèàvdè Se is cursed with recurrent spells of some troublesome disease. The affliction isn’t so fatal as to make living there impossible, but it adds suffering and expense to local lives. The plague might be the product of an ancient curse, the results of long lost toxic remains, or an unavoidable byproduct of whatever industry or purpose justifies the city. It’s probably not overly contagious, but visitors may be in some peril all the same.

Kvàvèàvdè Se is known for its odd use of round-a-bouts, small ring roads used in place of intersections.

POI

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Kvàvèàvdè Se was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kvàvèàvdè Se lost 204 people, 248 livestock, and 38 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 93, when members of Kvàvèàvdè Se's militia enacted an operation to locate a specific religious figure. The operation was complicated by a significant percentage of the militia choose to go abandon the operation and return home. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in a crushing defeat for Kvàvèàvdè Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kvàvèàvdè Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
